Pamiers is the largest municipality in the Ariège department. Located 40 minutes from Toulouse and served by the A66 motorway and the train, the city is ideal for living close to nature while having maximum services. The Pyrenees are about twenty minutes away, the Andorran border 90 km away, a perfect location to explore the surrounding area.

For everyday life, local shops, restaurants and markets (4 times a week) are located in the town center.

Greenways, hiking and mountain biking trails, and the Way of St. James pass through the city or are very close by. The Tour de France mountain passes and ski resorts are just a few dozen minutes away, as well as the Cathar castles.
